Wolfgang Gangl - Hope
Fotografie
LIMITED: 5
68x50cm
A child in a dark robe stands unwavering at the edge of a bottomless abyss. It is the depiction of that moment when the weight of the world meets childlike innocence. But instead of recoiling from the void, the girl opens her hand and bravely sends her dreams – as luminous butterflies – into the darkness.
She consciously chooses this place: Only in the deepest darkness can her dreams unfold their full light and find paths that remain invisible in the light. It is the ultimate act of hope – the
trust that letting go is not a loss, but a new beginning.
Because in the end, it's like in real life: those who have the courage to let their dreams fly precisely when the abyss seems deepest will experience how a tiny flap of wings turns into a reality that shines brighter than any night.

Wolfgang Gangl - Excalibur
Fotografie

40x30cm
Excalibur is a sword that plays an important role in the Arthurian legend. It is the weapon of King
Arthur and is bestowed upon him by the fairy Morgana. In the legend, it is a powerful sword that gives Arthur the strength to defeat evil and bring peace and justice.
In this interpretation, Excalibur is a (light) sword that grants women the strength to stand up
against oppression and injustice.

Wolfgang Gangl - Lise
Fotografie
limited:11
40x30cm
This dark, mystical portrait is an interpretation of the Austrian-Swedish physicist Lise Meitner, who conceived the theoretical explanation that led to the discovery of nuclear fission. Her silhouetted figure, draped in a long black dress, emanates quiet dignity. Behind her head hovers a dark circle, at the center of which unfolds a radiant red, explosive structure made of illuminated flowers. This composition symbolizes the “curse of discovery”: her brilliant insight gave birth to the immense destructive power of the atomic bomb, while someone else (Otto Hahn) received the Nobel Prize for it. The painting visualizes the tragic ambivalence of her genius and the heavy burden Meitner bore as a pacifist and unrecognized heroine of the atomic age.

Behind the grace captured in this image and the lightness symbolized by the ribbon lies the true story of "Katja" Katerina Luschik.
It's the silent end of a dream. The image shows a young gymnast whose body radiates the grace and lightness of sport. But the pose in which she hides in the darkness tells a different story. The
ribbon, meant to dance in the air and symbolize lightheartedness, becomes a protective shield. It's as if she's almost ashamed of not being able to withstand the relentless pressure.
Katerina's story is one of invisible wounds. She had to turn her back on sports, not because of an injury, but to save herself. Her story is a mirror for all those who put their heart into a
sport that then begins to break them. The picture is a tribute to her strength and her painful but necessary decision to let go.

Wolfgang Gangl - Black Swan
Fotografie
limited:3
100x75cm
The Foto is inspired by the film “Black Swan.” In the film, Nina Sayers, an ambitious
ballerina, is chosen for the leading role in a new production of “Swan Lake.” She is the perfect embodiment of the delicate and innocent White Swan princess. But the role demands more: she must
also embody the dark and seductive side of the Black Swan.
As Nina struggles to unite these two extreme personalities within herself, she falls into an
increasingly intense inner conflict. The clear boundary between good and evil begins to blur, and Nina starts to lose herself. White stands for purity and innocence, while black represents evil,
the unknown, and the depth of the soul.
